What is your facility like?

We pride ourselves on being an inviting, relaxing, comfortable, and spacious environment for you and your family. We are also located in an up-scale retail location that can also meet your other leisure activities

Are these procedures safe for me and my baby?

3D and 4D ultrasound uses the same frequency of sound waves your doctor uses in the normal 2D ultrasound. Ultrasounds have been used for over 35 years and there have been no proven side effects from its proper use.

When is the best time to have a 3D/4D Ultrasound?

That depends on what you are looking to see. We recommend between 27 and 31 weeks, your baby develops more fat and gets a more defined face. After 34 weeks, it becomes more and more difficult to obtain good images or pictures since the baby is running out of room. However this will still depend on a number of factors that includes the baby’s position, placental location and the amount of amniotic fluid surrounding your baby. We may still be able to get good images even if you are beyond the recommended age of gestation. We will still try to do our best!

How good are you in determining the sex of the baby?

At 18 weeks, we can determine the baby’s gender with a very high accuracy, however if the baby’s position precludes good visualization, you may need to walk around to improve the fetal position.

How can I be sure to get the best possible 3D/4D pictures?

We usually recommend a healthy fluid intake, especially while you are pregnant. This will help to ensure your amniotic fluid remains normal. There are however many things that are beyond our control, such as the baby’s position, the mother’s built and the amount of amniotic fluid the first time you visit us.

What should I do prior to the 3D/4D appointment?

Drink plenty of water, even days before you plan to have it done. About half an hour before your procedure, we recommend drinking fruit juice (provided your doctor does not have any restrictions on your sugar level intake) so that your baby will be awake during your session.

How long is the 3D/4D ultrasound session?

Depending on the ultrasound package that you select, your session will last between 35-45 minutes. This of course will depend upon a number of factors as stated above.

Are family and friends welcome to join?

Absolutely! As we encourage you to bring your family to share this special moment with you. Our ultrasound room can comfortably seat 6 people (more are welcome if they would like to stand and watch). The ultrasound image is projected onto a Flat screen TV so that everyone is able to see with ease.

How can I pay for the ultrasound?

We currently accept only cash, but as soon as provisions for credit card transactions are available, we shall announce it here on our site.

When do I get my 3D/4D Images and Videos?

Please allow us a minimum of three days for 4D packages to allow us to edit your videos because we convert them into a movie type format with background music and special effects. For 3D packages you can choose to wait a few hours while we print them or you can return to get them the following day.
